Stolen vehicle recovered in Hout Bay

A stolen vehicle was recovered by police in Hout Bay earlier this week. “The WatchCon community radio network spotted the car as it was driving into the suburb, on Monday 21 March 2022 at around 1.30pm,” explains Mr Jade Hanning, Western Cape General Manager at Fidelity ADT. Armed response vehicles in the area were given a description of the vehicle. “One of our tactical vehicles quickly spotted the vehicle where it was driving along Princess Street and proceeded to follow it, while providing feedback to the WatchCon monitoring centre. They in turn alerted the SAPS who quickly joined the pursuit and stopped the vehicle,” says Hanning. The vehicle was impounded.
