Wahl Bartmann, CEO of Fidelity Services Group congratulated the investigation teams on successfully tracing and apprehending three of the suspects involved in the break-in at a Fidelity facility in Pretoria on 21 November.

Bartmann confirmed that one of the suspects was a Fidelity Services employee. “Our teams have been working tirelessly with the SAPS and the HAWKS to track down the perpetrators. The investigation is still at a very sensitive stage but we are expecting more arrests to be made shortly. We can also confirm that some of the cash stolen was recovered during the arrest.”

Bartmann says even though the company has very stringent screening and checking processes, they will be refining and upgrading some of these even further.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 02 December 2020.
